A Hymn Sing-Along

My sister Ali helped play the piano for a sing-along in our area. One of the songs that they played was called, “Blowin’ in the Wind” which turned out to be a favorite of the night. It’s amazing when people sing together in chorus, the room seems to get a little brighter. 🙂

As William Cowper said,

“There is in souls a sympathy with sounds:
And as the mind is pitch’d the ear is pleased
With melting airs, or martial, brisk or grave;
Some chord in unison with what we hear
Is touch’d within us, and the heart replies.”

Take care then!

    This makes my heart happy. I never sang hymns until a few years ago (when I came to my current church) but now they hold a special place in my heart. 🙂
