Going Back to the Beginning

Hi Everyone!

This is just quick message saying that I have moved back to my previous blog, “Beloved Star”. So if you want, you can follow me there. Thanks and take care everyone!

~Training Horses~

My sister, Ali, has been helping out with my uncle in training his horses. I’ve done so in the past, but this year I’ve taken much of my time in learning about fitness and diet.

Horses are one of my favorite types of animals, but I now find them lovable when they are well trained and broke. πŸ™‚

Have you helped train horses? If so, what was your experience like?

Do tell.

Well I don’t know about you, but with warm drinks, soups, oversize sweat-shirts, and fall scenery I think this party was a great start to the Fall season. πŸ™‚

So, what do you do to celebrate the beginning of Fall? Do tell.

A Hymn Sing-Along

DSC_0023 DSC_0038DSC_0022 DSC_0048

My sister Ali helped play the piano for a sing-along in our area. One of the songs that they played was called, “Blowin’ in the Wind” which turned out to be a favorite of the night. It’s amazing when people sing together in chorus, the room seems to get a little brighter. πŸ™‚

As William Cowper said,

“There is in souls a sympathy with sounds:
And as the mind is pitch’d the ear is pleased
With melting airs, or martial, brisk or grave;
Some chord in unison with what we hear
Is touch’d within us, and the heart replies.”

Take care then!

~Labor Day Barbecue~

Hello everyone! For Labor Day we had a small gathering of friends from church to have a barbecue out in a local park. The little kids played at the nearby gymnasium while the older folk talked, then we had burgers and hot-dogs for supper (and later one s’mores for dessert) and as the sun began to set, we played a game of non-professional volleyball which turned out to be a lot of fun than I expected. πŸ™‚

So, how was your Labor Day yesterday? Do tell.

Baby Dietrich & Family

A couple weeks ago, I was privileged to take birth announcement photos for some dear friends of ours from church. Needless to say, it went very well, though I wish I was more energetic keeping up with the rest of the young’ns as we explored their farm to take pics. πŸ˜‰

Lately, as you’ve probably noticed, I’ve been absent from the blogging/wordpress community. Why? Well ,mainly because I’ve beenΒ  focused on diet/weight loss for past few weeks, but I’m more than ready to get back into blogging again. Hopefully this coming month would allow me to do just that. πŸ™‚

So, how have you all been doing lately? Do tell.

~Festival Dancing & Music ~

DSC_0106 DSC_0107 DSC_0111 DSC_0117 DSC_0123 DSC_0130 DSC_0140 DSC_0144

This past weekend held an annual festival called Corn Days where my church did an English Country Dance for part of the entertainment. Overall, I thought they did a pretty good job, even though I wouldn’t have mind joining them in some of the dances. πŸ˜‰ Barn dancing is totally a favorite of mine, (right after hip-hop). If you’re ever in my area sometime in early August, then know for sure that I’ll be inviting you there for some sweet corn, watermelon, ice-cream, and PIE! πŸ˜€

Take care everyone!
